Dear Colleagues,

We are also saddened to inform you of the passing of Leonard "Len" Thomas who passed away Friday, April 10, 2026. Len was a great teacher and mentor who was an amazing asset to the world of thermal analysis and to the NATAS community. We send our condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues. Rest peacefully, Len.

It is also with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Professor Sergey Vyazovkin on February 22, 2026.

Professor Vyazovkin made extraordinary contributions to thermal analysis and kinetics, and his work influenced generations of researchers around the world. He will be deeply missed as a scientist, mentor, colleague, and friend.

On behalf of NATAS, we extend our sincere condolences to his family, loved ones, students, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
