The North American Thermal Analysis Society is dedicated to promoting the understanding and advancement of thermal analysis. Since its inception in 1968, the society has represented the interests of thousands of scientists, academicians, physicists, chemists, technicians and engineers alike and all major instrument vendors. NATAS supports a variety of activities designed to meet the needs of its membership. In addition to a National Conference, NATAS provides its members with a periodical of technical and industrial news, networking opportunities, and educational and technological advancements.
The objectives for NATAS are simple:
- A regular and continuing program devoted to thermal analysis
- Provide members with pertinent information and a vast amount of knowledge
- Improvement of communication among its membership
With a growing membership, NATAS is determined to be the leading source for information in the thermal analysis field. Membership in this organization represents an outstanding opportunity.
In summary, NATAS provides its members with important credentials and the privilege of affiliating with technologists in fields allied with thermal analysis. NATAS is also an affiliate of the International Confederation for Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry (ICTAC) and has deep rooted American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) connections.
